NOTD: Sunset/Sunrise

I love to do gradient nail art! This time I decided to go with a fun color combo of oranges and pinks. It reminds me of a sunset, which by the way, are my favorite things to take pictures of. I was talking to a girl about nail polish and showed her this look, she was stunned that I did it my self! :D The colors I used were:
Wet n Wild "Sunny Side Up"
Sinful Colors "Cloud 9"
Pure Ice "Gold Dust"
NYC "Classic Coral"
Sinful Colors "Forget Now"
Pure Ice  "Iced Merlot
This may seem like a lot of colors but it sure looks cool!
I used a cosmetic sponge to get the gradient effect.
Next up is Ombre nails and a spot on Pure Ice nail polish!

Bon Bons!

Bon Bon nail polish was my very first nail polish. I even have my first bottles, they still work! (They are about 7 years old now) I have LOTS of Bon Bons, I don't know how many colors that were made but I think I have almost all of them. From the pictures you can tell I have used some of them a lot, and that's because I have had them for a very long time. I got all of them one by one from Wall-Mart for only $0.98. Even though they are very small, they have tons of color. Most of them go on very smooth, dry quickly and are nice and colorful. A couple of them are a little thick and don't dry too fast but that fortunately does not apply to all of them. They do chip a bit after a few days but that happens. When I was taking the pictures I noticed something, the name's style changes. The one on the left is the older one. (From the picture with two bottles side by side) Bon Bons will always be in my memory as the first nail polish that started my obsession.

Got some new polish!

OK, so I went to Walgreen's and picked up some new polish from Wet n Wild's Megalast display!
I did a little swatch to go along with it. :)
The pink is "Sugar Coat", I think it will be just perfect for french manis.
The green one is "I Need a Refresh-Mint".
Last but not least, the purple, "On a Trip".
I think these are all really cute colors and perfect for spring! They also have this interesting brush they call "ManiCurve Pro Brush". It is a little different and a bit strange but it seems to make the color go on nice and smooth. Overall I think these are pretty good colors, not my all time favorites but I will enjoy giving them a try.

The Collection

Here is my entire nail polish collection...
I have no idea how many I have, but I do know it is over 100. :P
I have used all of the colors so they don't just sit there! I also have a box with just nail supplies in it.

NOTD: First polish post!

Today I have on Nails Inc. St. Pancras and on top of it Pure Ice, Oh Baby!
I think this is a very pretty manicure and the blue sparkle adds a neat effect to the dark red/brown color.
Here are a few pics:
The blue sparkle didn't come out as well as I thought it would in the pics, but I still have a long way to go before I get the hang of posting things! Next up is my collection and storage!
