Day 2: Orange

Next up is orange! I decided to do something I have never tried before... Ombre nails! I think a while ago I said I was going to try them, so, here they are! These are all the oranges I have. I was lucky I had five to work with! I think I will try this with different colors next time. I have lots of purple I think would work great for an ombre look.

31 Day Challenge! Day 1: Red

I have decided to start a 31 Day Challenge! I saw this on a blog I am following that actually happens to be a subscriber of mine. She is my fist subscriber that is not a friend of a family member, haha. For the first day it is a red challenge. I know I am going to have lots of fun doing this, changing my nail polish everyday and getting to post online about it.

This polish came with a set of four and also had matching lipstick. I did my nails and took a picture with the lipstick on. The color is a little darker than the lip but I enjoy having matching "lips and tips"! :)

The polish does not have a name but is by Markwins and it is a very pretty dark red.

 

 



NOTD: Watermelon

I have done different watermelon designs in the past because I enjoy the color combination and how cute it can be. I tried to use a a lighter green to make stripes on the rind but it the green doesn't show up so much... I also need to work on my lines some more haha! This is a fun summer classic. :)

NOTD: Rasta Color Nails

This design is inspired by robin moses, a YouTube nail artist. They are Rastafarian colors and I think that it is an interesting nail art! The idea was that both hands would match but not be the exact same so there would be variety. My stripes came out a little funky, I was having trouble with my nail art brush. To make the yellow and green polish come out I used a white base coat underneath them both. I love these colors and I think I will try something like this again!

NOTD: Grey + Glitter

I decided to crack open a color I haven't used before! This grey is from a set of polish I won in a contest.  In this post I am going to include the colors it came with.
I just took the grey and topped it with a soft glitter.
