NOTD: Memorial Day

Memorial Day is this weekend, so as predicted I found a patriotic themed nail art! I was inspired from this YouTube video by jaemarie2008. Her video has lots of ideas for 4th of July and other patriotic holidays. I placed her video in this post if you would like to watch it. Below that are pictures of my nails.

The colors I used for this nail art are: L.A. Colors silver sparkle and red, Pure Ice "Celestial" and "Don't You Wish", NYC "Starry Silver", and a Sally Hansen French Manicure Pen. I also used my dotting tools :D
I love this look, it is so cute!

NOTD: First Dotting Tool Use

With my new dotting tools I decided that I needed to use the quick! This is my first nail art with them and I am very happy with how it turned out. It takes some practice but I love it.

I used Revlon "Cherries in the Snow" as a base coat and Sally Hansen "White On" for the flowers.

Ta-dah!

Dotting Tools!!

I was super excited to get these in the mail! My mom got these for me off of Ebay and they were super cheap (like $0.99). They did however come from Hong Kong. Suprisingly the arived in only two weeks, hot dog!!

Here they are!

NOTD: Sun Changer

Hello!! This beautiful nail polish changes color in the sun!!! It starts off as just an everyday pretty sparkle the changes into a hot pink. The nail polish line is called Blaze by SolarActive. The color I have is named "Sparkelicious to Red Hott Mama". It doesn't really turn Red Hott but the pink is very very lovely.

One of my mom's friends gave this to me, she works at Wild Teritory in downtown Lawrence and they had just got these in.

Here is a link to thier website: http://www.wildterritory.com/index.html

In my pictures you can tell I had this on for a while. I used three coats to get full coverage. Overall I would recomended it. It is a little on the pricey side at $13 but, hey, it is reallllly cool!
