NOTD: Holly Leaves in the Snow

I did this last year around Christmas and wanted to try it again because of how much I loved it before! I looked at a picture I took of my last one and let me tell you, this is waaaayy better. I gave up on trying to do the holly leaves and just put little blob lines last time. HAHA! I also added somethings to the snow on the other nails.

For the snow, all I did was sponge it on, and add some glitter polish. I then put even more glitter on it with the white loose glitter. For the berries and leaves I put on some gold to make them stand out more. I mixed my own green for the leaves with the lime, black, and bright green nail art polishes.

Polish used:
Nails Inc "Charing Cross"
Pure Ice "Don't You Wish"
Sinful Colors "Flower Girl"
Art Deco in bright green
Diamond Cosmetics in lime and black
+ white loose glitter

NOTD: Christmas Trees

I have been looking at several different Christmas tree nail art designs and this is a mash of several that I liked. I mixed my own green and the off white-grey color on the tree.I put a light green stripe down the side of the tree to give it some highlights. With my handy-dandy nail art mini bottles I created tree lights and a star on top! It matches my Christmas tree vest perfectly!

Day 20: Water Marble

This manicure takes a lot of trial and error. You have to find a polish that spreads, doesn't dry too quickly, and looks good with the other colors you want to use! I originally was going to use white, black and red, but I couldn't find a black that spread correctly. I changed it to white, blue, and red. That worked very well! I have only done a few water marbles in the past so my patterns have no consistency other than pretty swirls (not that there is anything wrong with that). I am still practicing on getting a uniform pattern. Randomness aside, I think this turned out great!

I am going to pause the 31 day challenge for a little bit so I can do some Halloween nail art! As soon as Halloween is over I will pick back up with the challenge.
My stats are also back!! Yay!!

Day 14: Flowers

For this day, I went with a fall colored theme. I was going to try and do some kind of mum-like flower but it ended up looking like a basic flower shape. I alternated between yellow flowers with red inside and red flowers with yellow inside. I then added some black dots to it.

NOTD: Rasta Color Nails

This design is inspired by robin moses, a YouTube nail artist. They are Rastafarian colors and I think that it is an interesting nail art! The idea was that both hands would match but not be the exact same so there would be variety. My stripes came out a little funky, I was having trouble with my nail art brush. To make the yellow and green polish come out I used a white base coat underneath them both. I love these colors and I think I will try something like this again!

Polish used:
Art Deco in light green, red, and yellow
NYC "High Line Green" and "Flat Iron Green"
Sally Hansen "White On"
Wet n' Wild "The Wonder Yellows"

NOTD: Grey + Glitter

I decided to crack open a color I haven't used before! This grey is from a set of polish I won in a contest.  In this post I am going to include the colors it came with.
I just took the grey and topped it with a soft glitter.

Nail Polish used:
Nail's Inc "Paddington"
Pure Ice "Don't You Wish"

blurry :( sorry

Here are the colors I won last fall. I hope to use them more this autumn.

NOTD: First polish post!

Today I have on Nails Inc. St. Pancras and on top of it Pure Ice, Oh Baby!
I think this is a very pretty manicure and the blue sparkle adds a neat effect to the dark red/brown color.
Here are a few pics:
The blue sparkle didn't come out as well as I thought it would in the pics, but I still have a long way to go before I get the hang of posting things! Next up is my collection and storage!
