NOTD: Hibiscus

There was a dance at my school and it was Hawaiian themed so I decided I need to do a special nail art! I created this with the idea of a hibiscus but it didn't come out exactly as I had planned. Although it isn't what I was going for, it turned out wonderful. I had so many compliments on this. :)
The orange/salmon polish I used is now my absolute favorite Polish I own.

Polish used:
Pure Ice "Twinkle"
Wet n' Wild "Silvivor"
Art Deco white and silver glitter

The thumb is my favorite nail

I wanted to show the gold shimmer in it

NOTD: Back to School

This was my nail art for back to school! My school colors are green and silver hence the green and silver gradient. The mascot is a Firebird, and that is why I have flames on my fingers! I experimented with different types of flames and decide to create this one.

Nail polish used:
Avon "Olive Green"
Pure Ice "Beware"
Bon Bon's in silver
Art Deco in silver glitter

Art Deco red, orange, and yellow
NYC "Black Lace"
Sinful Colors in gold glitter

NOTD: Cotton Candy

I saw a picture of this manicure and just had to try it!! It took me a little bit to figure out a color combination that stood out enough but I found it! After painting on a white base coat to make the colors stand out, I took a make up sponge and painted on the pink then the blue letting them overlap. I then sponged the colors on to my nail. Immediately, I took a top coat and brushed it over to make the colors smooth out. It looked like cotton candy to me and I happened to have a cotton candy scented pink polish by Revlon so, I put it on. The smell was to much for me so I put a top coat on to make the smell go away.
I found a new location to shoot my pictures that have more light.... the window.... now why didn't I think of that earlier?

The colors I chose are:
Revlon's "Temptress"
NYC's "French Tip White"
Bon Bon's in blue-green

Here is a video about the technique I used. (I also plan to do this look)

My pictures
I was outside in a vineyard and the light was too nice not to take a picture

NOTD: Pink and Silver

I started this manicure with just the pink color. I then thought it could use a little something extra so, I decided to find a another color that went well with the pink and make a french manicure with it. Silver stood out to me and I made a non traditional french with it. I think it turned out great!
Colors used:
(neither of these polishes have names)
Markwins The Color Workshop, Pink with a bluish sparkle
Bon Bon's in silver
