Glitter

Check this out! I got some loose glitter from Micheal's craft store!
I got two because it was on sale and I thought it was a deal. I got a black one that has a little bit of a holographic look and  a silver (really blue) for the same look. I just used the blue one last week but I didn't get a picture of it. I just put some top coat on my nail then dipped it into the glitter. The glitter got everywhere but it looked interesting. I topped it with about 5 coats of top coat. This glitter practically drinks up the top coat. In the end it came out sparkly and smooth. I am looking forward to using it more!

NOTD: Vines and Leaves French

This didn't turn out quite how I wanted it to but I still think it is pretty. This design is inspired by robin moses, a nail artist on YouTube and just had to try it. I made the french manicure and then took my smallest dotting tool to make the vines and leaves. I don't have a small paint brush so it did make it a little hard having to use the dotting tool but I still got it to work! This is a very cute design and with some more refining I think it could be one of my favorites.

Glow in the Dark!

Oh boy!!! I just got some glow in the dark nail polish!!!! YAY! These three came from the Lakeside Collection catalog and they are great! The came in green, blue, pink, and yellow. The only problem I found is that they are only .14 OZ..... They are very, very small. Now that I think of it, they aren't much bigger than a Bon Bon's nail polish. I have used them twice already and they give of a neat effect in the dark. I can't wait for Halloween to do something spooky with them.

I couldn't get a non-blurry picture of it glowing

NOTD: Really Late 4th of July

Here is my look for Independence Day! I did a fireworks inspired nail art and I LOVED how it turned out. I put a flag like pattern on my thumb to keep it in theme.
Colors used:
For the blue base, Pure Ice "Celestial"
For the rest, Art Deco in red, white, and a silver sparkle.
I then topped it off with some NYC "Starry Silver Glitter"

I used my dotting tools of course to make the dots. :)

Yes, I hid that nail because it was chipped
