NOTD: Election Day

It's election day! I did up my nails and put on my cheesy USA shirt with a giant bald eagle with a flag in its wings. For this patriotic design I just put on white and added some red and blue dots! Over top of it I put a pretty blue shimmery polish.

I will be picking back up on the 31 day challenge this week! I have one more design for tomorrow then I am back on it.

Nail Polish Used:
Pure Ice "All Nighter", "Celestial", and "Oh Baby!"

NOTD: Birthday Nails!

Yesterday was my birthday! For it, I decided I needed some festive nail art. I was thinking about candles or maybe balloons, but I was looking pictures up and found cupcake nails! I just cannot get over how cute they came out!!!! I used some new polish I have not used before and had lots of fun creating these cupcakes!!

To make them I first painted on Sally Hansen "Royal Romance" then made a deep french manicure in Revlon "Always Flaunting". Next, I took my new pink striper "Frosty Pink" and made lines to make the cupcake liner. After that I took my dotting tool and made the frosting. I then added sprinkles and a cherry! To top it off I put on some sparkle glitter polish.

Nail Polish used:
Sally Hansen "Royal Romance"
Revlon "Always Flaunting"
Nail Art by Diamond Cosmetics "Frosty Pink"
NYC "White French Tip" and "Big Red Apple"
Pure Ice "Hot Tamale", "Bite Me!". and "Don't You Wish"

Halloween: Pokemon!

I am counting this as Halloween as well. People still dress up like Pokemon characters... don't they? I did these while I was in Indianapolis from a suggestion made by my friend. She wanted me to do Pokeballs and  Pikachu! Pokeballs were on the left hand and Pika on the right. I even made a little play out of capturing Pikachu.........

Polish used:
Art Deco in black
Sinful Colors "Unicorn"
NYC "French White Tip", "Big Apple Red", and "Black Lace"

Halloween: Pumpkins

This is what I wore the day of Halloween! Some really cute pumpkins! I made the pumpkins accents and then on the other fingers some vines, they really are not pumpkin leaves but I decided it was close enough. I have done a look kinda like this with a french manicure and the vines. I made the pumpkin look a little more real by adding lighter orange to create the look of sections.

Polish Used:
Art Deco in orange and light green
Sinful Colors "Cloud 9"
Sally Hansen French Manicure Pen

Halloween: Daleks

Here are some Daleks from Doctor Who! If you don't know what they are, I suggest discovering your new passions by checking out the Doctor Who BBC television series.

On my ring finger and thumb I painted the Dalek itself and on the other fingers I painted its body pattern. Not only was it fun to create these creepy robot like creatures, it was fun to show fans of Doctor Who what I had done.

I was in Indianapolis when I took these pictures! I also got a new red glitter polish from the Wal-Mart there.
It is by Miliani called "Red" lame.... Oh well, it is still really pretty! I have never seen this brand around here so I purchased it!
